Acupuncture is considered to be one of the methods of health care, without any side effects and its been in practice for more than 3000 years, however, most of the people just recently realize how effective the acupuncture system is. The phenomenon of Acupuncture is not known to everyone, which could be one of the reasons why people are not aware of its potential benefits. Acupuncture targets the stimulation of the natural healing process that runs without our own body, which most of us don’t know.

Treatments based on acupuncture started almost 3000 years ago when ancient physicians found or discovered a special system of cyclic energy which is also called as Qi (pronounced as chee). This cyclic energy or Qi flows within our body at different internal pathways. These pathways are also called as meridian and every meridian is associated with a specific organ of our body like lungs, heart, kidneys etc. These pathways or the meridians connect to the surface of our body at specific points; called as acupuncture points. Every acupuncture point has its own effect on the Qi flowing in our body through that specific meridian. Previously it was not possible to determine the electrical charge at the acupuncture points; however, with the advancement of medical sciences, it has now become possible to measure these electrical charges. These electrical charges confirm the possible location of a meridian.

Ever since I can remember I have been interested in the medical field in general. After high school I found myself accepted to Pharmacy School but found after time that I had difficulty with biological sciences. I did not graduate. As time went on I found myself working in different industries before I eventually married and then became a Mom. While in Pharmacy College I found medical terminology to be interesting. I also have an infinity for working with computers. With both of these in mind, I turned my interest to Medical Transcription. With the economy the way it is and unsure futures for our lives, I feel that Medical Transcription is the way to go. I feel there are several advantages for me personally working in the medical transcription industry. First, I am a self starter and work well on my own. Everything that I have learned about the MT industry indicates that being a self starter is important. Second, I have two children ages 10 and 4 years of age. While they are both in school, my younger child goes for a short time five days a week. I need flexibility to both work from home in smaller increments of time such as 2 to 3 hour segments, in order to be able to tend to the needs of my children. Third, I need to make enough of an income to supplement our household income. In my research of medical record jobs, I have found the medical transcription industry is one of the best well paying jobs for those who want to work from home. Fourth, I would have the encouragement and support of my family. It was my Mom who first suggested medical transcription several years ago. While it was not advantageous for me to pursue this field until recently, knowing that my Mom wants this for me is an added bonus. Fifth, I am a very detailed oriented person and very accurate. SN:0TG9Y2ESY In the field of medical transcription, whether or not a transcriptionist is accurate can be the difference between life and death. A specific allergy to a medication that is spelled incorrectly can cause healthcare errors which can have fatal consequences.

If you do not already know about Theory of Constraints, an introduction is necessary. In plain words, it is a philosophy that aims to manage and improve the performance of constituents in any given complex system. It advocates that any system, however intricate, generally suffers from one major limiting factor that, in turn, delimits its potential performance at its pre-determined goal. So, in order to gain more ability to achieve goals better, the particular constraint causing friction must be identified, followed by management of the constituents in a way that is sensitive to the constraint.

Now coming to the understanding Theory of Constraints, it has its (analytical) tools based on cause and effect relationships. What the learned call ‘accurate sciences’; experience of the branch of science gives away its body of knowledge that is quite precise, though easy to understand being very logical.

The tools of Theory of Constraints are used by management to find breakthrough answers to difficulties they face in their job. Accordingly, the managers who follow ToC, first of all, get busy in identifying the root cause of conflicts. The causes that systematically aggravate the problem within a system are generally a set of odd assumptions that are just made, without any concrete basis. The manager works on the problem by duly attending to the causes identified – the solution thus is called a win-win solution.
